Norway (coming soon)

Our upcoming project in Norway will pyrolyse forestry waste biomass to make biochar while sequestering carbon, and deliver green energy to local businesses through an existing district heating network.

The Project

Working with partners in rural Norway, the site is perfectly located to benefit from abundant local feedstock from forestry operations. The heat from the pyrolysis process powers a district heating network providing local businesses with hot water, and the establishment of the plant will allow the retirement of a waste-to-energy power station, delivering reduced emissions for the service.

The result

High-quality biochar for the European market and highly rated CDRs, plus zero emissions energy production for the local area.

The plant is designed for expansion so increases in production can further support the ecomonic development goals of the region.
